Is High amount or High Number of Paytm UPI Transactions can cause any issue Like Income tax?

These Days, Many of our users ask us about “Any issue with Income Tax if we do High amount of UPI Transactions !!

Paytm UPi Income Tax problem

1. If you are a Student or Self Employed or Both (like me 😢😢 ), Then There is No issue (we will explain you “Why no issue for Student/Self employed“).

2. First of all, You should understand the meaning of Income Tax – Income Tax means “The Tax” you have pay on your Profit (For Example (Student/Self employeed):– If you have 1 Credit transaction worth 5 lakh and 1 debit transaction worth Rs 4 in an Financial year, So you have Made around 1 Lakh Profit? Then You don’t have to Pay any Tax since Your Income is Less than 3 Lakhs.

3. So in point no.2 we have explained You, Number of transactions doesn’t matter instead Income (Profit) matter for Income Tax, If you have earned more than 3 lakh then you can Calculate Tax on your Total income through Income Tax Calculator

4. So Everything is Clear for Students and as well as Self Employed (which is majority of our blog). Now we suggest Salary employees to not to Participate in this offer as they are Totally different than us.

Ans:- Bank Sent your Details to Income Tax when your bank balance reach more than 10 Lakhs or may be transactions. So better to not to File an ITR and manage accordingly.

2. Bank calls me to ask about my Transactions and asking for Explaination on these Transaction. Any issue?

Ans:- No, Tell them what you are doing. Its bank work to verify details with you, Sometime they ask you to open Current account (if you are Self employeed and want to continue high number of transactions.). For salaried employee..
You have to pay taxes only on your income… transferring your money in between your own accounts is not an income..you might have to explain this to income tax department if you are asked for more details from them..if you don’t then they will keep it under the type- income from other sources.

If you give explanation then you don’t have to pay any tax ..on transferring money in between your own bank accounts

Yes.. Why give a lot of explainations just for Rs 300 ??

Better to avoid or use Family member Paytm account.

Yashveer Bhai, a word of advice for all.. Nowadays, Paytm Payments Bank UPI Transactions are leading to money loss. Their pathetic CS is not helping. Approached on Twitter to Paytm Bank but no solution. I did 100 Rs transaction on 21 June18 from @birla linked with my Paytm Bank to @birla id also, linked with another Paytm Bank account. The transaction failed but money deducted from my account not credited to receiver. Approached @birla CS, they say contact ur bank. Paytm bank statement not showing @birla transactions correctly. Contacted Paytm Bank via app, twitter but still no resolution as on 29 June 2018. Another, Did transaction of Rs102 on 28 June from @paytm to @paytm, transaction successful, money deducted but not credited to receiver, contacted CS via twitter and app but no refund as on 29 June18. I have lost 102+100 Rs 202, if you have any solution Plz let me know.

Bro, Got money back after call with Paytm CS for @paytm To @paytm transaction. But still no track of @birla(Paytm Bank) to @birla(Paytm Bank) money. Approached UPI_NPCI via twitter, they say will update you as soon as some information is received. Bro, Amazing thing is that for @birla transaction, UPI reference ID doesn’t exist in Paytm Bank statement database. So, Shall i go for nodal officer email but they might say, transaction data and date doesn’t exist. Thee what will i do ? I am just clueless how and when i will get my 100 Rs back. Waiting for miracles, as have exam ahead in next month so cant waste too much time on follow ups…. 🙁
